CHEZ

*Chez* is a photographic series centered on the art lending collections of CAP Saint-Fons (2021) and GAC Annonay (2024).
The process began by inviting groups of people—including participants from the Saint-Fons community center and French language learners in Annonay—to make a specific artwork from the collection their own, developing a thoughtful relationship with it through conversation, writing, and visual art.
Over the course of several months and various workshops, they became familiar with their chosen piece.
Some participants installed the work in their own homes—private spaces that the artist then photographed. These images form part of the *Chez* series, which was launched in 2021 at the Saint-Fons art lending library. "Attuned to the relationship artworks share with the private or public sphere, I am interested in the way works shift: originating in the intimacy of the artist's studio, passing through the art center, and finally entering a different kind of intimacy—that of the borrower—to forge new connections."
