*Sans titre* (Untitled) is a participatory exhibition centered on the GAC Annonay collection.
To begin with, Perrine Lacroix invited individuals learning French to make a work from the *Artothèque* (art lending library) their own, developing a thoughtful relationship with it through speech, writing, and visual art. Over the course of several months and various workshops, they familiarized themselves with a specific piece.
Some participants installed the works in their own homes—private spaces that the artist then photographed. These images became part of the *Chez* (At Home) series, launched in 2021 at the Saint-Fons art lending library. "Sensitive to the relationship artworks maintain with the private or public sphere, I am interested in the shift of works—born in the intimacy of the studio—that, after passing through the art center, intrude upon another kind of intimacy: that of the borrower, thereby establishing new relationships."
In the second phase, the imprints of these individually selected artworks were gathered for the summer into a collective composition displayed on the window of the new GAC (currently under renovation)—resembling a series of open windows awaiting art.
During the *Sans titre* (Untitled) exhibition, visitors are also invited to choose an artwork and pose with or in front of it in a specially set-up photo studio. The resulting collection of portraits forms *Autoportraits* (Self-Portraits), a gallery where each resident appears alongside their favorite piece. It reveals the extent to which the chosen works resemble the people who picked them; they often act as mirrors. This inclusive slideshow also highlights a diversity of viewpoints and tastes, championing freedom of opinion and, above all, the right of every individual to choose, think, interpret, and feel.
The *Vues de l’esprit* (Mind’s Eye Views) series features children seen from behind, gazing at an imaginary artwork and catching the rays of light passing through it. The exhibition *Sans titre* (Untitled) alludes both to the "undocumented" status (*sans titre de séjour*) in which some participants find themselves and to the many artworks titled "Untitled" available for loan from the art library. Emerging from the intimacy of the studio and passing through the art center, these works go on to enter another intimate space—that of the borrower—to forge new relationships.
